In this video series, learn why female athletes are at greater risk of ACL injury and how an exercise prevention program can dramatically reduce this risk. Part I provides background on this all-too-common injury, and explains why girls are at greater risk. Part ll, geared toward coaches, trainers and physical therapists, demonstrates simple screening tests they can use to identify those at higher risk of ACL injury and develop exercise prevention programs tailored to the individual athlete. Part lll demonstrates the prevention exercises that athletes can do at home, and the exercises and stretches that coaches can easily incorporate into regular practices.
